Eva Leftenant grew up in Mastic Beach, Long Island. She attended SUNY Purchase for music and graduated with a B.A. in Studio Composition. Eva has been writing music and teaching preschool for over nine years and loves using her ability to compose and create new and original songs for children. Teaching at the school has enabled her to not only embrace her musical side, but to enjoy all the different methods of teaching in the preschool environment.
Grant Zubritsky hails from West Chester, PA, a sprawling suburb of Philadelphia. Grant completed a degree in philosophy and music at Hamilton College in upstate New York. His senior thesis was entitled, "The Aesthetic Value of Emotional Responses to Music." Watching children develop personality and judgment through experience intrigues Grant and is why he continues to go to school every day. That and the fact they just say the craziest things.
Lelia Mangham is from Brooklyn, New York. She is currently attending Hunter College in Manhattan for Early Childhood Education. Proudly this is her fifth year at the school and she is enjoying being an assistant teacher for the Butterfly/Grasshopper class. Because of Lelia¹s love of art andwriting, she now leads the writing circle with the Ladybugs and helps facilitate the art projects in the Butterfly/Grasshopper room. She is excited about the rest of this academic year, as well as the following, and hopes that the Co-op school will continue to grow.
